Do you have an in-tray?
Having an overflowing in-tray isn’t a good look, and it’s often frowned upon by team leaders.
Try to schedule regular check of your in-trays. Even if it’s just to go through what’s in there so you know what’s on your plate. Use a system like my Happy Days files and you can still keep your desk in order
I have three in-trays throughout the office and I make a point of emptying them whenever I walk past them when I’m hot-footing it around the office. An empty in-tray makes me feel as though I’m being efficient!
